Dr Epameinondas Bonaros

Dr Epameinondas Bonaros is a highly experienced hair transplant surgeon in Glasgow with a real passion for helping patients improve their image and self-confidence. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS) — the only internationally recognised board certification dedicated to hair restoration surgery for physicians — a status earned through rigorous written and oral examinations that confirm a surgeon's ability to perform safe, aesthetically precise work. A fully licensed and qualified doctor, he is registered with the General Medical Council (GMC No. 7566786) and is an Affiliate Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Dr Bonaros is a full member of the British Association of Hair Restoration Surgery, where he serves as Treasurer, and is proud to be the only hair transplant surgeon in Scotland recognised as a Full Member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS).

After graduating from medical school in 2005, he completed his internship before specialising in general internal medicine. He then trained intensively in hair restoration alongside reputable surgeons across Greece, and his results soon led to invitations to operate in several European countries. In 2016 he established his practice in Scotland and went on to become a distinguished medical director. Today he works exclusively in hair restoration, having helped many patients combat hair loss and live with renewed confidence.
